With another national lockdown underway, we here at The Cley Hall have been looking at the new guidelines published by the government. We are aware that although travel is severely restricted, there are situations in which some people have no option but to travel out of the area in which they live. It is for this reason that we have decided to stay open, but with more restrictions in place which are detailed below.
Due to the current restrictions, we have decided we will no longer be able to offer our guests a takeaway breakfast service as we have been doing recently. This is to ensure that all contact between guests and staff is kept to an absolute minimum to keep everyone as safe as possible. Porridge pots will be placed in guests rooms should they require them and the microwave station in the lounge will still be available at all times for guests to use. Again we must ask that social distancing measures are adhered to at all times and masks are worn in all public places.
Reception will now be operated remotely with the phone being monitored 24/7. Emails will also be responded to by the team who will be working from home, so if you have any queries please get in touch and we will reply as soon as possible. If your enquiry is urgent then please call rather than email to ensure your matter is dealt with straight away.
Any reservations, current or future, must provide the hotel with an approximate time of arrival. This is so we are given enough time to arrange staff or to set up the self check in service with the guests.
Please can we ask that any guest that is travelling to us, read the government guidelines to ensure that their reason for travel is permitted. These rules are law and anyone found to be travelling for a reason not set out in these new guidelines will be refused entry to the hotel.
We again thank you for your support and understanding and ask if you have any questions or concerns, to please contact us and we will do all we can to help.
